After defeating the Rot Fairy and the return of Spring Island, Navarra was swept to the shores of Summer Island. Here, there were not only revealed new abilities to her, but she also found the company of Flamelet, with whose help she was able to defeat the Fishing Fairy.
Day 17 „Fall Horror House“
Again Navarra felt how her strenght grew. Penta faded away but like Pengrito before, Navarra now also felt Penta’s presence nearby. Strangely enough, she now exactly knew the path she had to take now.
Riding on Epzora again they safely arrived at Fall Island. But the Island was dark und scary. The howling wind gave her a chill and a blood red full moon hung in the sky although there were no full moon to come soon. There shouldn’t even has been night now. But it was. As they approached the island she already saw the big, dark house. Whatever Epzora and she did, wherever they tried their landfall, it was there, standing right in front of them, as if it did move around the isle.
So, Navarra decided to enter it.

Day 18 „Haunted Favorite Character“
The house was maze. It was bigger on the inside than on the outside. Flamelet still enlightened her way and luckily every so often she found candles to lit up the place. But honestly, it made it only even more creepy. And there were a lot of monsters around. Skeletons and spiders and worms and blobs. She never knew what evil lurked in the heart of the house and she had to fight her way. Additionally, she soon learned the meaning of the everlasting Blood Moon: Whenever she came back into a room, all the monsters she already defeated before suddenly were alive again.
But the greatest horror still was to come. As she turned a corner, she saw another Zora. From another tribe but still a Zora. The clothes and the jewelry she was wearing indicated that she once has been a princess. And she was the most beautiful Zora Navarra had ever seen – leaving aside the fact that she was semi-transparent and that the feeling of menace crept Navarra’s bones caused by the sheer view.
One more time it was Pengrito’s Haste which saved her life. Navarra knew: Neither spear nor seed nor flamelet would have helped against this haunted Zora. She was right around the corner and Navarra desperately looking for a way to escape as she again heard and saw Penta:
Day 19 „Mask Shop“
Penta’s Course showed Navarra the way away from the fierce ghost. Still, she just KNEW that she was never far away. It was only a matter of time until she would bump into her again. Carefully Navarra made her way. Penta had pointed the path she had to go but now she was silent, taking a rest to be ready when she was needed again. So she found the place Penta marked as goal. It was kind of a shop, a weird looking shopkeeper behind the counter. Transparent, ghostly, too, but not dangerous.
There was an inscription:
No course, no haste
Will free this place.
The Hero of Time’s
To be the companion
Of the rising Champion
Whom destiny finds.
Day 20 „Mask Enemy“
It gave Navarra another chill as she recognized the masks with Penta’s and Pengrito’s faces on the wall. „No course, no haste …“, Navarra didn’t know whose face the other mask wore but from the riddle she reasoned that this one had to be the „Hero of Time“. By now she also knew how things worked, she knew, this mask had to be important but before she could give it further thoughts, the other two got a life of their own. They fiercely began to attack her. They appeared to be ghosts but they were solid enough and although Navarra were able to keep them at bay with her spear, she once again had to flee the place.
Day 21 „Undead Champion“
In the end, she found herself in a room that seemed strange enough. She didn’t remember fleeing into some kind of basement, she only recollected fleeing upstairs. But this was a cellar. No, it was a crypt. There were graves, a lot of graves, strangely facing some kind of stage, as if the dead being a weird, silent, eternal audience. In front of an angelic statue Navarra spottet another person. She reminded her of the guy she met in the shop on Summer Island but something was weird (as if there could be anything that won’t be weird in this place).
Gworria, „The Champion who steals the hearts“, once was the guardian of the Fall Fairy.
„But I can’t help you free her, I am neither dead nor alive. I am stuck between worlds, neither flesh nor ghost, my soul caught in this dead body, moving by sheer will.“
„What do I have to do?“
„You need a ghost to fight a ghost.“
Day 22 „Mutated Link“
„Open your eyes.“
Navarra didn’t know what to do. She’d figured out that it had to do something with the mask. And, frankly, there was only one obvious option.
As soon as she took the mask on she got a strange feeling. She felt as if she was two poeple at the same time. Her ears grew and didn’t grow, she was holding a sword and even a shield but there were neither sword nor shield, in addition to the jewelry Zora wore as only fashion there was a tunic, there were bombs in a bag she never possessed and boots and a cap and at the same time they weren’t there. She likewise got the impression of thoughts and of emotions which weren’t her own, whispering in the back of her head, beating next to her heart, as if another person had merged with her into a new, a mutated form of them both.
This moment, they spotted the Ghost Princess. Mipha was her name, the thoughts and memories of the person Navarra was one with told her. She wasn’t terrifying anymore. Not in the same sense like before. Now she appeared to be kind and gentle. At the same time, Navarra felt a weird emotion, like if somebody won’t be able to cope with a situation, like if they didn’t know what to say.
But the Princess knew:
„Link … I once promised: No matter when, or how bad the wound… I hope you know… that I will always protect you …“
So she did. Mipha faded away but Navarra felt refreshed again – ready for whatever to come.
Day 23 „Puppetmaster Fairy“
A creepy scratching of stone on stone foreboded the attack. One of the tomb slabs was pushed to the side and a giant though semi-transpartent blob rised into the air. Actually, Navarra-Link noted, there was a hand, a likewise ghostly hand, inside it, playing the blob as its sock puppet master, throwing poisonous drops which became smaller ghost blobs.
„Behind you!“, Gworria yelled.
And, even more creepy than the ghost blob, a giant ghost Penta emerged, the eyes glowing, swinging a sword. Navarra-Link got hit by her first strike and as they were going to strike back, sock puppet Penta dodged away back into the grave. Only seconds later another monster from another grave rose.
This way they encountered several monsters. Soon they learned that there were only one grave one monster. No sock puppet was like the other, there were the blob, an octorok, Penta and even Pengrito, but there were also sock puppets Navarra-Link didn’t recognize. Her spear didn’t affect the sock puppet monsters in any way. The spear’s point pinched the monsters without doing any harm. They soon figured out that they had to use it like a sword, not like a spear. Navarra wasn’t used to swordwork, but now she had a feeling for it, finally getting near enough to cut the ghosts in parts with the ghost sword in Link’s ghostly hand.
They soon learned that they were able to defeat the blob and other monsters but that they only harmed the hands when they hit the Champion’s puppets. Gworria, though you could see her pain not to be able to, couldn’t help in the fight with her worldly body and the wordldy swords. Still, she could close the graves easily, giving Navarra-Link extra time.
Since they never knew when and where the next puppet would rise, the fight was exhausting. After they cut Penta from the supporting arm, a mouth apppeared in the centre of the graveyard, lashing out with a long, shadowy tongue. On the other hand, the sock puppet’s attacks – now one-handed – slowed down and finally they defeated Pengrito puppet.
This moment, the mouth began to inhale. Navarra didn’t get affected, so didn’t Flamelet. But Link did and Navarra too felt as if her soul was to be pulled out of her body. Luckily, they instantly knew what to do. It still took several bombs which didn’t explode prematurely and some which actually found their aim until the ground shook and mouth and eyes of the Puppetmaster Fairy burst in flames, leaving a hole in the middle of the graveyard and reviving the Fall Fairy again.
But there still was something to do for Navarra.
Gworra finally made her peace, though her soul would accompany Navarra like the ones of the other two Champions before, she left behind her zombified body:
„There is only one empty grave, this grave is my grave. Please, give my body a last home …“
