Ngl, I started writing this PaintLog entry already in June 2023. Unfortunately, I never found the motivation or the mood the finish it.
Still, of course there has been art since the last PaintLog published (see below)!
I hit 300 followers on Instagram and celebrated with a pixelate event, I finished the ZodiOC series. I got obsessed with the show RWBY and did a lot of fanart about it, including two whole fanart OC teams. There has been more of Crissy and Paula in Arcryla City and I added lore and another Character to the Witchphibians universe.

Since I already shared a recap of the past year on Instagram, I’d like to quote myself to this purpose here:
In 2023, I managed to draw quite constantly. Drawing is a very satisfying process and doing it regularly contributes a lot to my inner balance. So, yes, I am happy and proud of the last year’s outcome.
Looking back, it was a year of multi character paintings. I drew a lot paintings featuring more than one character.
It also was a „Witchphibian“ year. I not only wrote „The Witches Almanac“ to summarize the lore of this series, I also introduced new characters: Kimeira Wartribe, Mirro and Bend Stuffcurver.
I did more fanart, too. In contrast to past years when most fanart was about The Owl House, new shows came up (I’m still proud of the Amity painting from April, though), Attack on Titan or RWBY. I even created a RWBY OC team and won a fanart contest.
I also dived into pixelart and got even more practice when I decided to pixelate the OCs of my followers to celebrate 300 followers on Instagram.
Last but not least, I finished the ZodiOC series that I started in 2022. Tbh, it was kind of a beloved routine to share one of those every month but I’m happy that I managed to finish it, too.
Looking forward to 2024, there are already new ideas, new inspiration, new OCs in the queue, I am quite confident to stay creative.
